BJ FitzGerald has performed professionally on both trumpet, guitar and voice for more than 20 years, and throughout his career has shared the stage with well-known artists in jazz, rock, country and hip-hop.  A graduate of The College of Saint Rose, he is a public school music teacher and has worked as an adjunct professor at his alma mater, teaching music technology and recording techniques.

Best known for his work in The Ill Funk Ensemble and The Hillbilly Horns, FitzGerald has played around the country to tens of thousands of people and garnered rave reviews for his soul, technique and tone.  Described by Okayplayer.com as a “show-stealer”, BJ has opened for Blake Shelton, Naughty by Nature, Tower of Power, as well as a dozen other world famous acts.

Diverse in his influences, BJ performs songs people will love without gimmicks- just raw energy and skill.
